As the Pilates industry evolves, so should our understanding of movement, biomechanics, and safe, effective teaching practices. These workshops provide space to refine skills, deepen knowledge, and apply new ideas directly to real bodies and real movement—supporting longevity, confidence, and integrity in both teaching and practice.

Let’s go beyond the basics and explore the relationship our diaphragm has on our posture and pelvic floor function. We’ll discuss breath patterns and learn how they can lead to chronic issues. Then we’ll talk about techniques to use to address these issues with your clients. Part lecture, part hands on learning. You’ll be able to start teaching these techniques right away.

Now that you have a repertoire of exercises, let’s figure out together how to put them all together in an intentional movement sequence for your clients. We’ll address both Mat and Equipment planing.
We’ll also dive into verbal cueing to level up the basic cues we all already know. Think going from “Shoulder’s Down” to “Exhale and allow your shoulders to relax”. We’ll teach you why the “exhale” cue is the most important part of that cue.

Feet play such an important role in Pilates but they’re complicated. Mechanics aren’t taught often in our preliminary education so extra learning is essential.
We’ll talk about foot anatomy, what proper gait and foot. mechanics looks like, and what to do if you aren’t seeing those patterns.
Learn how the connection to the ground informs how we move our pelvis and upper body.
